Jenn Tran reflects on her time with Sasha Farber after leaving DWTS

Former Bachelorette and “Dancing with the Stars” contestant Jenn Tran and her partner Sasha Farber were eliminated on Tuesday's episode of “Dancing with the Stars.”

Tuesday night was Halloween nightmare night on “Dancing with the Stars,” and Tran and Farber performed a contemporary number to “Vampire” by Olivia Rodrigo.

After their elimination, Tran and Farber opened up to “Good Morning America” ​​about their time on the show and the partnership they formed.

Tran said she experienced a “whirlwind of emotions” after the elimination and was “sad to see such an amazing experience pass.”

“We had so much fun rehearsing every day, we spent every waking second together – what will life be like afterwards?” she said with a laugh.

She added that she was “confused” and “scared,” “but also just so grateful.”

“We weren't supposed to be in this season at all, and by a twist of fate we were brought into it – and it happened at a time in my life when I was at my lowest ebb, and suddenly I found myself at a… new peak,” said Tran, who revealed during the “Bachelorette” finale in September that she and her ex-fiancé Devin Strader split after the show ended.

“It just proves that with every closed door comes a new opportunity, and I'm excited to see what this new door will open for us now,” she continued.

Tran said the show was “such a great distraction” and that dancing helped her express her feelings. “I've gained so much confidence…I've just learned so much about myself and I feel so much more connected to myself now,” she said.

Farber also praised his time with Tran, calling her “a joy to work with” and “an incredible human being.”

“I'm lucky that I was able to dance with her and meet her, and she really made it so easy to get to work, and in between, to not work, so to speak,” he said, revealing that the couple often hang out Spending time together would be “normal.”

Farber added that he was “proud of Jen's growth as a dancer, as a person… and belief in herself.”

“She’s really a fighter,” he said.

Comparing her experience on “Dancing with the Stars” to her time on “The Bachelorette,” Tran said: “I've cried more here than I've ever cried on 'The Bachelorette,' other than the finale,” she said.

She also described the pressure of the competition and talked about how much time she put into perfecting each dance.

“That’s a lot,” she said. “I mean, just like the pressure I put on myself. It's like spending blood, sweat and tears every day in rehearsals, endless hours, like countless hours, and then having a minute to hold yourself on the dance floor.” . It’s a lot of pressure to put on yourself.”

Farber explained the pressure of performing in front of a live audience every week. “It's like everything goes through your head, and it's the ability to take that and say, 'You know what I can do,'” he said.
